Rome: Season 1

L10288770

A former HBO show, that lasted only a couple seasons, is the story of Rome during its transformation into an empire, following the characters of Lucius and Titus, involving Caesar, Mark Antony, and Cleopatra.

It was an intriguing show and came highly recommended before I started, but I soon found that I’m not as big a fan of the histories as I would like. This show had it’s moments of mystery and interesting plotlines, but everything moved fairly slow and each episode did not always flow into the next as easily as some.

Full of heavy violence, some sexual content, and language, but it won’t stop me from checking out the next season just to make sure I didn’t miss out on anything.
